19mm-biothane-dog-muzzle-safety-connector
19mm Muzzle Connect™ BioThane® Safety Connector for Dog Muzzles

The JOOLS LONDON Muzzle Connect™ Safety Connector is a slide-on closed link that threads directly through your dog’s muzzle straps, with no clips or clasps. It provides an additional connection between the muzzle and collar for owners who want extra reassurance during walks and training.

The closed-roller design keeps the connector securely threaded once correctly fitted. It is a discreet extra layer of security for basket and cage muzzles, particularly for reactive dogs or dogs that may paw or rub at their muzzle.

Premium BioThane® is waterproof, odour-resistant and easy to clean, making the connector practical for daily use in wet or muddy weather. This listing is for the wider 19mm width and is available in a choice of lengths and colours.

Muzzle Connect™ is available in three widths: 13mm, 16mm and 19mm. The 13mm and 16mm widths each offer six lengths, from 4 to 9 inches; the 19mm width offers five lengths, from 5 to 9 inches.

How to measure: Fit your dog’s collar and muzzle as they would normally be worn. Use a soft tape measure, or a piece of string and a ruler, to measure the straight-line distance between the collar attachment point and the point on the muzzle strap where the connector will sit. Keep the collar and muzzle comfortably fitted without pulling them tight, then choose the connector length closest to your measurement. The listed length is the connector length, not your dog’s neck measurement.

19mm BioThane®. Heavy-duty fixed-length collar connector. Correct sizing and fitting are essential. This connector is intended as an additional safety connection and does not replace appropriate supervision, training, or a correctly fitted collar and muzzle.

AQ: How should the connector be fitted?

The connector should be worn with a normal fitting, snug neck collar, following the standard two-finger gap rule, so there's minimal movement between the connector, collar & muzzle.

FAQ: How do I measure for the right connector size?

Choose the width (13mm, 16mm or 19mm) to match the width of your dog's collar, so the connector's hardware sits securely without slipping. For length, measure the gap you want between the collar and the muzzle when your dog's head is in a relaxed, natural position, then pick the closest length option so there's enough slack for comfort without leaving so much that the muzzle can swing or catch on things.

FAQ: Can I choose a colour that isn't listed?

If you'd like a colour outside the options shown here, get in touch with us directly and we'll see what we can do.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0959/1278/8300/files/54CFA2A1-8388-425B-99E9-A82EBD20204C.jpg?v=1790123299
